We love Pandora (and they love Ollie!)
GREAT NEWS! Ollie is now on our favorite music discovery site, Pandora! Before you rush off to check it out, we need a few minutes of your help to make the most of this exciting opportunity.
Pandora is held to licensing rules that permit them from playing music without a certain audience demand. So it's particularly hard for new artists like Ollie to get a lot of quality airtime. But the more Pandora users who set-up their own personal Ollie Childs radio stations, the more times Ollie gets played. And of course, this increases the number of new listeners who are exposed to his music, which leads to more people "liking" his music, which leads to more new listeners and so on and so on until everyone's listening to Ollie all of the time!
So please, if you have a minute, here are instructions for how to help. Trust us, your time will really make a difference - plus, you'll get to listen to enjoy some great music in the process.
1.) Log onto Pandora here: www.pandora.com
2.) If you're a first time visitor, create an Ollie Childs radio station simply by entering Ollie's name into the search engine on the first page that pops up. Then don't forget to register for a profile while you're there. (This will take about 30 seconds, we promise!)
3.) If you're already a Pandora user, simply create a new station by entering his name in the "New Station" box at the top left of the Pandora screen.
4.) Then, everytime enjoying lots of great new music on your Ollie station, keep your ear out for artists who you recognize and enjoy (say R.E.M. or Adele for example) and press the "Thumbs Up" button on the radio player at the top of the screen during these songs. In the magic world of Pandora, this puts Ollie on the musical map.
And hopefully that's how a big beautiful Ollie Childs snowball is made.
